Growing up in Pau, Southern France in an Italian house, I had to opportunity to learn from two different cultures at the same time.
After graduating from High School I aimed to learn fashion, to study it, to create it. So I moved to Toulouse where I had the chance to learn from amazing and very experienced teachers. One of my style teachers used to assist Thierry Mugler himself in the 90's or Laurent Mercier at Balenciaga in the early 2000's and he is the one that had the biggest impact during my scholarship.
Meanwhile I was studying fashion, I started to step onto the fashion industry by having internships. Alexis Mabille, Weinsanto, Ines de la Fressange were the three houses in which I learned all of the Haute Couture skills I now have, how to manage a very young Couture House or how to work in RTW studio.
Following my last internship, I had six months to make a collection and present it to a jury including a presentation of the eponymous brand I created during my scholarship. All the aspects of the brand were presented : the History of the brand, the values, the communication, the merchandising, the marketing, etc.
And to sum my studies up, I had the chance to present my collection during a fashion show which was sponsored by the House of Mugler and where the CEO at the time, Pascal Conte Jaudra, was invited.
Posterior to my graduation, I officially moved to Paris where I started to work in fashion. I learned even more about this industry during my time at Saint Laurent, either as the flou technical department manager assistant or as the special projects studio assistant. My Marine Serre experience had taught me how important quality control is during every step of a collection process.
Moreover, I am now working on some personal projects, including the drawing of a collection but also the making of some clothes, looking forward to get back in the fashion world.
